Both games use a standard deck of 52 cards.
The stakes are determined before the game begins, and the game starts with an initial bet or an ante.
The betting actions in both games are the same – Call, raise, Fold, check.
The betting round in both games ends with a Showdown, and the player with the higher-ranking hand wins.
Teen Patti vs Poker – Differences
The main difference between Teen Patti cash game and Poker is that the object of Teen Patti is to make the best three-card hand, while the object of Poker is to make the best five-card hand.
In Teen Patti, the dealer deals only three cards, face-down. In poker, the dealer deals three hole cards, face-down, and two community cards, face-up, over several betting rounds.
The hand rankings in Poker are higher than those in Teen Patti. The 3 Patti game doesn't have Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, or Full House hands.
In the teen patti games, the bets double if the player views their cards. In poker, viewing your cards does not affect the bets.
