Basic Teen Patti Rules

You must become familiar with the Teen Patti game rules to emerge a winner each time you play.

  • The game uses a standard card deck without jokers.

  • The Teen Patti cash game is played between 5 to 8 players.

  • The objective is to form the best three-card hand and win the pot by having the highest-ranking hand or making opponents fold through strategic betting.

  • Each player places a minimum bet called the boot.

  • The dealer deals three face-down 9 cards to each player.

  • Players can choose to play as Blind (betting without seeing their cards) or Seen (betting after seeing their cards).

  • The game is played clockwise, with players either continuing to bet or folding based on their hands.

  • If only two players remain, a showdown occurs, where both reveal their cards, and the one with the higher-ranking hand wins.

  • Players can also request a sideshow to compare their cards with the previous player, but if both have the same hand, the player who asked for the sideshow must fold.
